Or Close Hi Ray & Jay! I recently visited my parents during the Fourth of July holiday. I was going through my old stuff that my parents packed in boxes in the garage and found some old gaming systems. I got such a wave of nostalgia that I decided I wanted to buy all the old games that I had either lost, sold or traded in my youth. I just don't know where to start looking for these things! Can you guys help this desperate gamer? Hi Desperate Gamer! When looking for old games the first thing I would suggest is looking on ebay. Not necessarily to buy, but to get a good idea on how much people are willing to spend on old games. Also ebay is a good start to find out what people think particular games are worth. With this knowledge, start hitting the garage sales. You may be able to find people who will give you a stack of games for a great deal! Along with garage sales try going to the local flea market where a good number of people could be selling video games and related accessories. Another great source are used goods stores. Not just used video game stores, but maybe your local used video or music store may have a pile of used games at low prices. Now used video game stores I would be careful with, since they only sell games they might want top dollar for their used games. Now if you don't have your heart set on actually collecting games but just playing them, look online. There are websites out there either dedicated to video game rental or have made your favorite "retro" game playable online. Hopefully this will be a great start to your hunt.
Good luck and happy gaming! Comments (0)
